Weekend Pictures

Here are some pictures from our 2010 Harding family vacation. We spent it at my parents' house playing and doing fun things around town. It was a whole bunch of fun!
On Thursday Andrew and Maren came with Niki and Celeste to come and pick me up down in Springville so Michael could bring our car up on Friday night when he got off work.

Here is Niki with Katelyn and Emilee attached to her legs.

Nathan's two favorite things: his blanket and balls. He was dragging his blanket with him everywhere he went. So cute!

Here is Alex sitting on Emilee's lap:

Emilee and Katelyn loved having me carry them around like this. I personally think it looks kind of uncomfortable. :)

Thursday afternoon we made these beaded watch bands. All of the kids picked out their beads then would hand them to me in the order they wanted them in. They did a GREAT job! Niki's is top left; Tina's is top middle; mine is top right; Maren's is bottom left; Katelyn's is bottom middle; and Emilee's is bottom right.

Here's Emilee, me, and Katelyn Friday morning:

Swimming at Alyson's pool!!!

Katelyn was the first kid to go down the slide. She loved it!

Here is Maren ready to leave. When we were saying the prayer for lunch a bee stung her finger. She was pretty sad, but felt better after a little bit.

"Presenting Rainbow the Clown" (Niki dressed Emilee up):

I love this picture of Celeste and Nathan:

Michael and Emilee playing:

On Saturday afternoon we all went to Boondocks and went bowling and played archade games. Here is Michael and Katelyn watching how Katelyn did (Katelyn ended up beating Michael... Michael lost out of everyone. Maybe he should have had the bumpers up.):

Maren bowling:

Emilee celebrating a great bowl:

Tyson helping Nathan take a turn:

Andrew doing a fist pump. He got a couple of spares!

Here is me, Maren, Katelyn, and Emilee on the Merry-Go-Round. I didn't ride if for very long. :)

Maren and Emilee on one of the archade games. The seats moved and made you feel like you were going on the roller coaster. They loved it!

Niki won 100 tickets on this. She was pretty excited!

Tyson and I have a special "soccer bond." We're the only two that would call ourselves soccer players in our family. He plays on an indoor team in Colorado. Here he is at the soccer game:

Here's Nathan giving it a shot:
And Maren:

And Emilee:

Here's what we got with the tickets. Doesn't Emilee look so cool?

Sunday morning after the kids got all ready for church they played a little. Here are some of the kids jumping off the stairs to their dad, Tyson. Emilee:

Nathan:
Katelyn:

Here is Maren and Michael. Looks like someone is not quite ready for church in this picture.

Katelyn did this really funny face for this picture. I'm not exactly sure what she is doing. Maybe showing her muscles??

Michael and Katelyn:

Me and Emilee can make the same face!

Sunday evening before the kids went to bed Alex made a fire and we roasted marshmallows and made smores. The kids LOVED it!

Here's Andrew, Maren, and Emilee enjoying the final product:

Monday night Michael and I went back up North to have Family Home Evening with the family. This is a picture of Andrew leading the music for our opening song:

Emilee gave a great lesson. She taught us about repentance. For the activity we did the hokey pokey. It was so much fun! Then for treats Grandpa made us a fresh strawberry pie. He worked so hard in the kitchen. He made the crust from scratch and somehow missed the step that said to cook the crust... so here is Emilee, Maren, and me pretending to eat the pie.

Guess what Katelyn's favorite color is?

Here is a close up of the pie. So once he finished and my sisters told him that he needed to cook the crust he used the remaining dough and cooked it.

We cut a piece of the crust then scooped out the filling from the other pie. It was delicious. Dad did a great job... next time will be even better! Here is Niki showing us how it's done:

The family vacation was GREAT! Tyson, Tina, and kids are now up in Washington visiting her family. Michael and I love spending time with family!
