Irony

A few definitions are available but I think this one is most fitting:
(1): incongruity between the actual result of a sequence of events and the normal or expected result (2): an event or result marked by such incongruity

Setting: I don't care much for cheese. I'll eat it sparingly on my pizza but that's about it. I'll generally turn cheese down when offered and request it be removed from meals when dining out. Imagine the joy I felt when I was informed at work that I would begin buying the company's cheese lines. Delightful.

We have to be careful that he doesn't get the water in his mouth... he may drown. He just loves putting anything and everything in his mouth. :)

Niki's 32nd Birthday

Niki turned 32 on Saturday, but was working all day so we celebrated last night. When asked what she wanted for her cake she said donuts... so here is what my mom did:

First Easter

Jonathan was sick on his first Easter. We stayed home from church because he had a yucky cough and runny nose. I did still get him dressed in what I planned on putting him in and took pictures. Here you go:

Homemade Baby Food!

On April 1st I made Jonathan his first non-rice cereal food. We had gotten some sweet potatoes in our Bountiful Basket so I cooked them up and pureed them. I was so proud of myself... it was really easy and sooooo much cheaper than buying baby food. He ended up liking them. :)

Aunt Kelly

On March 31st Jonathan got to meet his Aunt Kelly. We went out to Boulder for lacrosse and she came up to see us. We had a lot of fun going to dinner with her. Here are some pictures of the two:

Bracket Busters

The tyrannical reign of Niki Harding over the Harding Family NCAA March Madness Bracket has finally been broken!

For the past two years Niki has selected, with near-perfection, the correct teams in every round of the playoff games. She readily admits that she's more or less guessing. To the rest of us who think they know what they're doing her continued dominance has been nothing short of maddening.

But this year, alas, a new champion has been crowned! The Family trophy is coming home to the Albright household! Oriah correctly chose Kentucky and Kansas in the Championship game whereas Niki chose both Louisville and Ohio State - both of whom lost yesterday. Way to go Oriah!!! Booyah!!!
