Walking!

This past weekend we were in Colorado and Jonathan just decided to start walking. He still crawls most of the time, but when he walks he does it with a HUGE grin on his face! We are so proud of him. :)

Start date October 1st.Finally out of Food and Logistics related jobs and into Healthcare and Technology. I'm very excited about that!

This is also job #3 in as many years. I've got to stick around at this place a while otherwise the resume is going to read:

   Job #1 - duration: a year-and-a-half
+ Job #2 - duration: a year-and-a-half
+ Job #3 - duration: and so on

I had a friend share with me a few years back that they thought the only way I'd be happy with my job would be if I were self-employed or employed through the Church. They may be right but for now I'll give this a shot. The next step in the long journey that has been escaping underemployment.

Pay It Forward

I finally did it. Today I paid for the person behind me in the drive-thru. Felt good...the whole random act of kindness thing.

I love this stuff! After taking a bite I got so excited I took three steps all by myself!

Jinxed

Last night was lame and someone is already yelling at me this morning.

Amazing!

Shoot! I know I'm behind on blogging, but this is very noteworthy to us... Look at how amazing this little man is:

Besides the fact that he seems to have flying skills yesterday he slept so well. Morning nap: just under 2 hours. Afternoon nap: just over 2 hours. Last night: just under 12 hours!!! Yes you read that correctly. :)

Today we are happy and well rested!

11 Months Old

Yesterday Jonathan turned 11 months old. Crazy! We sure do love this little man. He loves to walk around pushing anything that moves (and being pushed in his walker). He'll be off on his own soon. :)
