So, I guess Argentina just jumped on the same bandwagon the Netherlands, Belgium and Spain were on and legalized gay marriage. I'll take the opportunity to gently remind them about, or bring to their attention, the following (it's all important but gets extra neat towards the end):

Husband and wife have a solemn responsibility to love and care for each other and for their children. "Children are an heritage of the Lord" (Psalms 127:3). Parents have a sacred duty to rear their children in love and righteousness, to provide for their physical and spiritual needs, to teach them to love and serve one another, to observe the commandments of God and to be law-abiding citizens wherever they live. Husbands and wives—mothers and fathers—will be held accountable before God for the discharge of these obligations.

By divine design, fathers are to preside over their families in love and righteousness and are responsible to provide the necessities of life and protection for their families. Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children. In these sacred responsibilities, fathers and mothers are obligated to help one another as equal partners. Disability, death, or other circumstances may necessitate individual adaptation. Extended families should lend support when needed.
We warn that individuals who violate covenants of chastity, who abuse spouse or offspring, or who fail to fulfill family responsibilities will one day stand accountable before God. Further, we warn that the disintegration of the family will bring upon individuals, communities, and nations the calamities foretold by ancient and modern prophets.
We call upon responsible citizens and officers of government everywhere to promote those measures designed to maintain and strengthen the family as the fundamental unit of society.

Obviously, I am not Mormon, so most of the stuff you mentioned pertaining to the Book of Mormon, I wholeheartedly disagree with. However,if we just use the Bible, it clearly states that once in heaven we will be in unbroken relationship with God, not our spouses.
Luke 32-35 states that..."Finally, the woman died too. 33 Now then, at the resurrection whose wife will she be, since the seven were married to her?” 34 Jesus replied, “The people of this age marry and are given in marriage. 35 But those who are considered worthy of taking part in that age and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage."

It is clear what is right in the Bible, however, no sin is greater than any other and it is also clear throughout the Bible (especially in Galations) that once you are forgiven, God sees you as his son. There is no caveat to that.
Furthermore, it states that it is our job to love one another as we love ourselves and love God with all of our heart. Now, we can't be perfect in this, but this is what we should aim to always do if we want to compel (evangelize) people to serve God. Offering up condemnation and judgment turns people away from God. We serve a loving God who gives us more grace than we deserve, you should offer this grace to others even when it is easier to offer the opposite.
