First Birthday Party!

On Saturday we had Jonathan's first birthday party, it was just a couple days before he actually turns 1. Jonathan's Grandma Patricia and Grandpa Jim were able to drive up from Arizona!

We had a Curious George theme. Here is the little man:

After having a little lunch we got to open presents:

After we opened his presents we played "Pin the Tail or Hat on Jonathan"

Celeste and my mom waited to go last so they could learn the tricks and do it correctly:

This is while we were singing to him... he LOVED the attention

He loved playing in it, but never quite got down taking a bite... so my mom fed him/let him play

This past weekend we were in Colorado and Jonathan just decided to start walking. He still crawls most of the time, but when he walks he does it with a HUGE grin on his face! We are so proud of him. :)

Goodbye Nicholas

Hello MediConnect Global!

Start date October 1st.Finally out of Food and Logistics related jobs and into Healthcare and Technology. I'm very excited about that!

This is also job #3 in as many years. I've got to stick around at this place a while otherwise the resume is going to read:

Job #1 - duration: a year-and-a-half
+ Job #2 - duration: a year-and-a-half
+ Job #3 - duration: and so on

= Bad attitude & a job hopper

Definitely not resume candy.

I had a friend share with me a few years back that they thought the only way I'd be happy with my job would be if I were self-employed or employed through the Church. They may be right but for now I'll give this a shot. The next step in the long journey that has been escaping underemployment.
