Family Vacation: Day 3

Saturday was a lot of fun. In the morning we got everyone ready and went down to Bridal Veil Falls. The kids were able to play in the water and have a good time. I didn't take my camera... so no pictures to document that part of the trip, but it was fun!

On the afternoon agenda was a big birthday party. My mom decided that she wanted to celebrate all of the birthdays in our family at one time so she and two of my sisters planned the fun. During nap time the older kids did a craft then we opened presents after these three cuties woke up:

A couple fun pictures of us waiting to open presents:

I'm not really sure what Madeleine is doing... maybe she is gurgling water??:

Emilee is just cute and excited:

And the present opening begins:

Spencer entertaining us all... in his own quiet way:

Henry loved to play with the balls:

After we opened presents we had a pinata. Each of the kids took two turns then some older "kids" finished it off.

The older ones were blindfolded:

And then of course on her second turn Madeleine wanted to wear the bandanna too... and ride the stick like a witches broom (no need to get the candy out of the pinata):

Mackenzie helping out the process... notice the starburst?:

And grandpa took a few good swings and helped break it all the way (notice all of the kids holding their cups ready to dive in and get the candy):

After all of the candy was collected we had cupcakes. It was a great birthday party! And a great day 3.
